Getting ready for a New Year

Sorry to start and stop this blog and the others I have worked on. I am working on brings the different blog Ideas and other stories and art and sewing and craft to one focused website. Seems so hard to do with only the Fae element in common but I have a good start just having issues bringing the  blogging the the comic and the store front to one place. I am having to dust off my HTML skills and look for the different scripts I want to make the web site work. At the same time I am still working on the art and storyline.

Just had a custom set of wings ordered and after drawing this winter fae I have thoughts of creating her crystal wings.

Supportive Choli

I find that in Tribal dance I have run into a issue. I could wear a bra then a choli then the decorative coin bra on top but then I have way too many layers. More layers more chance the straps not lining up and looks bulky. Plus I have a nice tattoo on my back I like to show it off so I want a backless Choli, but as a D cup I need the support. I can just wear a good supportive coin bra but I have wanted a supportive Choli  if for nothing else to practice in .
I did find a good free choli pattern at http://members.iinet.net.au/~ramsden/tribal/index.html but it does not do much in the support area and did not like the darts . I added a lining to the pattern which help a little bit with the support but not enough. I am going to rework the straps and the lower band. I hope to get pictures up in the next day or so.   .

I wish I could find cellophane in silver gold and black. My daughter has me working on a set in red and promises to pose with them on and wear them to all the finest events.

I think I should do a set in purple for myself . But the butterfly style seems more fitting for me.
 Wished I had been able to get the headdress and the earwings to work in the outfit I wore for Riverssance 2010. That was so much fun. For those who asked about the dancing butterfly toy I am working on it I hope to have it listed by the end of the month. Starting out

So I am new to blogger and blogging. I am hoping to learn more about the in and outs of doing business on the web and the role that blogging has in this new marketplace.

 I do a bit of everything. I sew and design outfits for dance. I love creating jewelry using mixed mediums. I am learning to create 3d art and one common theme is I love the Fae, fairies, sprites, pixies,wee ones call them what you will. The idea of magical creature living in our world inspires me to try to create beauty.
